Other Problems:


If the tuner dial does not light up:

  • Replace the bulbs with the type specified in your service manual. For example, the 2071 uses 161-type bulbs like these.
  • Spray contact-cleaner in the light sockets, and insert and take bulbs out a few times. Any oxidation that formed on the contacts will be cleared.

    • Intercom stations have scratchy volume control:

  • Spray contact-cleaner in the volume control, and twist knob a few times. Any oxidation that formed on the contacts will be cleared.
